I love having little girls. I love that they love each other sooo much. I love dressing them! It was so fun to find Easter dresses and make accessories. This year was especially fun for dresses, because Nissa was actually wearing my little sister, Gabi's dress from my wedding. (Its kindof funny to think that Gabi was 8 years old when she wore that dress, and Nissa is 4.) When it was time to find Kat's dress, I was extremely happy to see it hanging at the store. I had to have it for little Kat. A couple weeks later I realized why I loved the combination of the 2 dresses. They were my wedding colors! So, here are some takes of the girls in their Easter dresses.

Easter 2011
We had been planning all week to have our Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Much to our dismay, it started snowing. Bummer. When Nissa saw that it was snowing, she looked at me and said, "I wanted it to snow today, mom. I wanted to have the Easter egg hunt inside." Nissa is my sweet little girl, she knew how much I wanted to hunt outside, that she tried to cheer me up. So, while we were out running errands, the Easter Bunny's helper came and set up the hunt inside our house.
Nissa's face as she rounded the corner into the living room. Pure joy, and excitement!
Kat was more interested in eating the treats rather than collecting the eggs.

Kat's 1st Birthday!
Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Girl! We were lucky enough to be in Utah for this little ones birthday. So, we had a little birthday bash and invited our family. It was so nice to have daddy's family and mommy's family there.

My girls love to go to Utah. They love seeing all of the family. Unfortunately, due to sickness we didn't get out and about as much as we would have liked. Here are some more pictures from the final days of our trip.

We were able to see my aunt Laura and her cute kids. Here is sweet Nissa and Lilly. They were so cute together.
On Sunday night, Victoria got all the girls together to help her make baby Kat's birthday cake. They are kneading color into the marshmellow fondant. Monday, April 4, 2011
Baby Chicks
Take 2-
While we were in Utah, one day Poppa surprised everyone with baby chicks. Nissa was extremely funny with them. When she was younger and Poppa would bring home chicks, she would pet them and hold them. This time around, not so much. She wouldn't touch them, hold them, nothing. She finally grabbed a napkin, unfolded it, and placed it on the floor. She would finally allow for the chick to sit on the paper towel in front of her. Silly girl.
