Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!! We can't believe you are already 4 years old! You are such a delight and we are so happy you are in our family. You are such a sweet, beautiful girl. We love you so much!!!!

Happy 9 Months!

Happy 50th Dad!

While we were in Utah for Thanksgiving, we were able to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday! We threw him a surprise party and we had a wonderful time!

Disneyland-Day 4

The day started off with seeing Rapunzel from the new movie Tangled! Nissa was thrilled to see that she has long hair like her. Her hair wrapped around the whole cottage. It was darling!Nissa and Rapunzel

Disneyland- Day 3

Day 3 began with Pixie Hollow. For those of you who don't know, Nissa LOVES Tinkerbell! One of her nicknames is Tinkerbell Nissi.

Pixie Hollow was such a magical place, and when I mean magical, I mean it. As we entered, the sweet man who introduced us to the fairies told Nissa that as we entered Pixie Hollow, Tinkerbell sprinkled pixie dust on us, causing us to shrink to the size of Tinkerbell. What a magical place.

Disneyland Day 2

Our 2nd day in the Happiest Place on Earth, began at California Adventure. While some of the big kids went on the Soarin' we took the opportunity to snap some pictures with Lightning McQueen. Poppa and Nissa

Group shot outside Toy Story Mania. The little ones loved this ride, so we went on it often. Kat was taking one of her many 'Kat' naps, so I stayed and waited for everyone. After the ride, we were thrilled to see Woody and his soldier.

We met up with Gabi and Michelle and headed to Bugs Land. We decided to hit up the delicious ride, Hemlich. Kat was able to join us, and she loved it!

Little fact: flying straight from Denver and packing up long sleeves and jackets, we arrived in Disneyland and enjoyed, and melted in 97 degree weather. We weren't expecting it, at all. We headed to Target and found some summer clearance clothes for my sweet little girls. It was a record high, pretty much all week. I enjoyed the weather, once we were wet. And knowing that we would be going back to snow and cooler weather. Lets just say we went on all the water rides several times. Nissa was even brave and went on Splash Mountain. She loved the singing animals, but not the waterfall so much.

It was so fun to catch up with some of our favorite people, the Sargents. Here are the cute little ones in Tarzans tree house.

Day 2 ended great. The girls were beat at the end of the day, which made for some great sleep. Nissa could not contain her excitement. She wanted to go back right away.

Disneyland- Day 1

The first week of November, my parents took us on an amazing trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Disneyland!!!Nissa was so excited. She could hardley wait. This was such a perfect age for a child. She loved everything about it. It was so magical for her.

In line for the new Toy Story ride. Nissa loves Toy Story right now, she was so happy to be riding it with her favorite people.

Happy 8 Months!

Halloween 2010

We had a wonderful Halloween, filled with lots of fun things to do, and fun people to see and play with. Our Halloween started at Boo at the Zoo at the Hogle Zoo with the Olsen group. It was so fun to see everyone.
Nissa and her sweet little cousins Sophie and Ava. Nissa was thrilled to see all her cousins. She has sure missed them.

After the zoo, we headed back to Mumma's house so we could do some trunk-or-treat with little monster Zeke. Alex made his cute little costume, and did a great job. Also, my mom made Nissa's costume. She did a great job and Nissa was thrilled to dress up, wig and all. :)

Unfortunately, when it was time to go trick-or-treating, it was pouring rain. So, we waited a little bit and then went. Nissa sure enjoyed trick-or-treating this year. She had so much fun running door to door.

Carving Pumpkins

Before we left for Utah, we were able to steal daddy from work and carve pumpkins. Nissa loved drawing the face on the pumpkin and having daddy carve it for her.
Nissa was thrilled when she found some money in her pumpkins. What a lucky little girl!

Kat even enjoying getting her hands dirty, but of course her pumpkin hands went straight to her mouth.
