1st Snow!!!

We were so happy to have my aunt Laura and her darling kids, Braxton and Lilly come to visit. The snow greeted them with a warm welcome or should I say cool. It snowed all day Saturday, but we had tons of fun. We went to the Natural History Museum, some fabulous toy stores, the Old Spaghetti Factory. We had a wonderful time with them and are so grateful that they got to come visit.Braxton and Nissa
Kat wasn't sure what to think about it.

Pure happiness was on this little ones face. She loves the snow!

All the little ones.

Lilly, Braxton, Nissa, and Kat

Kat sure loved Braxton. The whole time they were here she said his name over and over. She adored him!

We had so much fun having them visit. We just couldn't get enough of them, that we decided to drive back to Utah with them!

Love for Animals

This little girl loves to be outside, and loves animals. She loves to feed them, pet them, hold them if she can, and squeeze them.

Here's sweet little Kat giving water to Bella.
She is fearless. I was worried that Bella would think she had food in her hands and nibble her fingers. But she never did. She would let Kat pet her.

Giving Bella some hay.

Funny story behind the boots. Over the summer, while we were visiting Utah, we went to the store and purchased some tiny cowgirl boots for Kat. Kat knows that when you are on Mumma's farm, all the little kids have cowboy boots.
When she saw them at the store, she knew she had to have them. She kept saying boots, and smiling. I didn't think little boots were practical for a little girl, so I told her we were putting them away. She threw a fit and kept crying, "Boots, Boots, Boots". Over and over. So, I gave in. They are her favorite shoes. She loves and them.

The Escape Artist

A video of our little escape artist

(I did encourage her to crawl out of her crib for the video. The reason, while she was napping I never heard any falls or loud thuds. I would just go up and the room would be torn apart. I needed to see how she did it. She has smooth moves. Right after our move, her bed was changed to a toddler bed, and we haven't had any problems since. The climbing out began at 16 months.)

Sunflower field and different personalities

After Sunvalley, we came to our new house, unpacked a couple boxes and left on a jet plane to Utah. While we were there, we played. On Sunday, I decided I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful field of Sunflowers next to my parent's house. So, out we went. Here are some of our results.

I sure love my girls. They are both so much fun. And they are both soo different. Nissa is my calm child, who likes to help out and is one loving little girl, who doesn't like to do wrong. She is very sensitive and loves to cuddle. Kat is my spit fire. She is one ball of spunk. She pulls funny faces, doesn't like to sit still, and likes to pick on big sister til she cries. They are great little friends and they love each other.

SunValley 2011

This year we were lucky enough to go to Sunvalley with Jordan's family. We flew into Boise, Idaho, rented a car and took the 2 hour drive to beautiful Sunvalley. It was gorgeous. The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful time. We rode bikes into Ketchum to go to the fabulous toy store, eat at the yummy restaurants, and enjoy the great shopping. While we were there, we also went and did a little putting on the green at the golf course. Kat trying to figure out what to do with the putter.

It was fun to watch the little one try to figure out how to hit the ball. So cute.

Nissa was in heaven. She had so much playing with her sweet cousins Ava and Sophie. Her favorite part were the many sleepovers with Sophie and Ava. They had late nights, which consisted of giggles and talking.

Kat finally decided that she was going to collect as many golf balls as she could.

and then sit on the ground and watch everyone.

Little Miss sassy pants would not allow for any pictures.

I love the concentration that is on little Zach's face. He was adorable to watch golf.

These two got along really well, Kat was in heaven knowing that there were little ones her age.

Nissa and Granny O watching everyone play golf.

Zoe showing Kat all about the game of golf.

Taking a break to look at the beautiful little creek.

We made several trips to the pond to feed the ducks. Kat thought it was so fun. She didn't like how they came so close her. They were fearless little ducks.

Nissa and Sophie in the stationary tram posing for a quick picture.

Kat adores James. And she loves to take his bottle from him, for some odd reason.

We had a fantastic time with the Olsen family. Thanks for a great trip.
