Wheeler Farm with Cute Cousins

While we were in Utah, we were able to get together with some of the Olsen cousins. Granny O arranged for us to meet at Wheeler Farm. My girls were thrilled to see the animals, have a ride on the hay ride, and get pumpkins. Thanks for a great time.

Nissa was such a sweet girl to Zoe. These two little ones really connected and you can see they really love each other. I just love this picture. Nissa was thrilled to be such a big helper to her little sis, and to Zoe.

I love this little bum shot of Kat, Nissa, and Zoe.

Sweet, cute little girls.

1st Time Fishing!

Our quick and spontaneous decision turned out to be quite a surprise for one of my favorite persons. It happened to be Gabi's birthday the day we were driving, so I kept it a secret that were coming. We arrived late that night. Knocked on the door at 11:00 or so, and had Gabi answer the door. I arranged this all with my mom and Victoria. Gabi answered the door, and was as shocked as she could be. Gabi started crying, which then caused me to start crying. It was really touching, and I so happy we could surprise her like that.

The next day that we were there, we pretty much took naps all day. I was exhausted. The Saturday that we there, my dad had planned a ward activity to go fishing. I was so excited. I couldn't wait to share such a fun activity with my girls. I loved fishing when I was little.

Nissa getting some fishing lessons from Poppa.

Kat was unsure what to think.

Mumma, Nissa, and Zeke standing on the dock trying to catch some fish. Isn't the water unbelievably beautiful?

Uncle Matt and Nissa trying to catch a fish.

Kristiina getting a taste of a sucker. Shhh, don't tell her mom. :)

Gabi ended up catching the biggest fish. She fell in love with fishing. She had never been before, and was in heaven.

Before we left, we saw these cute little carts that led to a mine. So, we thought, lets snap some pictures. Nissa has now started to pose for the camera. A little unsure where she learned how to pose like that. Funny little thing.

She really got into posing. She is such a funny little person.

1st Snow!!!

We were so happy to have my aunt Laura and her darling kids, Braxton and Lilly come to visit. The snow greeted them with a warm welcome or should I say cool. It snowed all day Saturday, but we had tons of fun. We went to the Natural History Museum, some fabulous toy stores, the Old Spaghetti Factory. We had a wonderful time with them and are so grateful that they got to come visit.Braxton and Nissa
Kat wasn't sure what to think about it.

Pure happiness was on this little ones face. She loves the snow!

All the little ones.

Kat sure loved Braxton. The whole time they were here she said his name over and over. She adored him!

We had so much fun having them visit. We just couldn't get enough of them, that we decided to drive back to Utah with them!

Love for Animals

This little girl loves to be outside, and loves animals. She loves to feed them, pet them, hold them if she can, and squeeze them.

Here's sweet little Kat giving water to Bella.
She is fearless. I was worried that Bella would think she had food in her hands and nibble her fingers. But she never did. She would let Kat pet her.

Giving Bella some hay.

Funny story behind the boots. Over the summer, while we were visiting Utah, we went to the store and purchased some tiny cowgirl boots for Kat. Kat knows that when you are on Mumma's farm, all the little kids have cowboy boots.
When she saw them at the store, she knew she had to have them. She kept saying boots, and smiling. I didn't think little boots were practical for a little girl, so I told her we were putting them away. She threw a fit and kept crying, "Boots, Boots, Boots". Over and over. So, I gave in. They are her favorite shoes. She loves and them.

The Escape Artist

A video of our little escape artist

(I did encourage her to crawl out of her crib for the video. The reason, while she was napping I never heard any falls or loud thuds. I would just go up and the room would be torn apart. I needed to see how she did it. She has smooth moves. Right after our move, her bed was changed to a toddler bed, and we haven't had any problems since. The climbing out began at 16 months.)
