Easter!!!

Saturday Easter Festivities
Easter Festivities started on Saturday with dyeing easter eggs at Granny O's and Freddy O's . After the dyeing of eggs, we headed outside to have egg races. Nissa had so much fun. After the race, she decided she to throw the egg, and try to break it open.

After the race.

Then off to Mumma's and Poppa's for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It was so much fun, this year she understood that you collect eggs and put them in your easter basket. Nissa is one smart little cookie. She found out that if you put your basket on the ground, you could then gather as many eggs and goodies as you could and put them in your basket. She ended up having quite a full basket.

Easter Sunday
After church, we headed outside to take some pictures. She looked beautiful in her Easter dress. Thanks Granny O.

After we headed over to Mumma's and Poppa's and took a few more pictures. Here she is with her cute little cousin, Zeke.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.
P.S. The reason for the stitches, Nissa hit her head on a bookshelf and had to have 6 stitches. The Monday after Easter, Nissa was able to get them out, and the scar looks really good and is healing rather nicely.

Who's that Who?

A couple of weeks ago, Nissa was able to perform in Seussical the Musical as a darling little Who, Nissi Lou Who. Christian and Gabi were also in the play. Gabi was a dancer and Christian was a monkey. They did a great job. It was really fun to see them perform.

The finished "who" hair. I still can't believe how much hair this little bug has. I didn't have this much hair until I was 5 or 6. :)

Being 'oh' so still while getting some stage make-up on.

Enjoying being pampered.

Zeke was also able to perform one night. He was the Elephant Bird. If you don't know this story, Horton sits on Mayzie's egg waiting for it to hatch. He is on it so long, that the egg hatches into part elephant and part bird. Zeke was such a cute little Elephant Bird.
Here is Horton with Zeke, and Nissi Lou Who and the Cat in the Hat.
