4th of July

I love the 4th of July. Everything about it. The parades, the BBQ's, the swimming, the Patriotism of everyone, and the fireworks. We had such a wonderful day. Lots to do, great food, and fun people. Here are some of our 4th of July highlights. My little 4th of July bug. She loved the parade.

For my birthday, Jordan got me a new camera, so my old camera went to Nissa. She loves to take pictures.

Squishy Chocolate

The day started of playing in piles and piles of dirt. With a few rain showers and the help of some irrigation water, we had mud. Lots and lots mud. Outfits changed, and a cute little one off to bed, (he couldn't get dirty because of surgery, which won't allow him to have a bath for a few days), Zeke was sent to bed for an afternoon nap.

Memorial Day Weekend!

For Memorial Day weekend, we went up to Preston Idaho to spend some time with Jordan's family. I am sad I didn't get more pictures of the gang, but here are some fun moments that we had with one another. Jordan showing Lauren that even adults can ride on the plasma car. It was quite a sight.

While we were there, we went and visited Grandma and Grandpa Beckstead on their farm. Nissa was very excited to see all the cows, especially the baby cows.

Trip to the Zoo

Last week, my sisters, my mom, and the kiddos, all piled into the car and headed up to Hogle Zoo to enjoy the animals and the beautiful weather.

Watching the bird show. Nissa squealed with delight as the birds flew right over our heads. If you have not seen the bird show at Hogle Zoo, you should. Its very entertaining and cool. More summer adventures to come.
