Dance Recital 2011

We were very lucky to have my mom, sister Gabi, and brother Christian come out for a few days to visit. They happened to be here for Nissa's dance recital. She was very happy. Here are some cute pictures after her performance.Mumma and Nissa

June 2011

I am really behind on blogging, so I am going to play catch up.

When Jordan and I went to New Orleans, my family watched the girls.

When I got home we were able to stay for an extra week. We had a great time. The girls got sick with a cold, so we weren't able to do everything that we wanted, but we did have a great time.

While in Utah, we happened to be there on a day that my parents got irrigation. Nissa was so excited. Here she is in her irrigation clothes. Cowgirl boots, and a shirt. Love her little personalitly and style!
Last year Nissa called irrigation "Litigation" She is such a funny girl.

Kat enjoying irrigation in Poppa's arms.

This was our first time meeting baby Kristiina. She is such a beautiful, chubby, little girl. She looks just like Alex did when she was little, but with blue eyes.

Here's all 4 cute little cousins.

My sweet Nissa in a dress that my mom wore when she was Nissa's age. It was super cute!

New Orleans

Jordan had a work retreat in New Orleans, and I was lucky enough to be able to go. We had a blast. Jordan had a busy schedule of meetings, excursions, and dinners, but I was lucky enough to be able to hang out with 3 lovely ladies. We had a fun time shopping, eating delicious, and some unusual food. Jordan and I took a little ferry ride across the Mississippi.

There were lots of street performers. A lot of them were cute families with little children. It was neat to see.

The beautiful Hotel Monteleone that we stayed at.

The unusual Bacon Sundae that we tried. It was rather salty, and loaded with caramel and bacon. It was interesting, but quite tasty.

The lovely ladies that I toured with. We were at the delicious Coffee Pot for breakfast. The omelet was to die for. Sooo good!

PreSchool

Nissa finished her first year of preschool with Sister Mitchell. She loved it! We all loved it. She had such a wonderful year. They made bread, butter, did lots of painting, and crafts, and the last day of preschool they had a water party. Here's Nissa with her sweet little class.

The many hairstyles of Kat

Seriously, this girl has many, many hairstyles. I would have to say that she has the best hair.

Warning- lots of picturesThe "lets put dinner in my hair" style The "bangs" style

"Mom did it in a fohawk" style

"We sisters have great hair" style

My personal favorite

"The MULLLET"

Business up front, Party in back.

I kid you not, her hair is really like this.

"Static fort" style

"Dinner in hair" style

This is a common occurence. Every time we have dinner, which is every night.

"BedHead" Style

Mom, enough already. Its embarrassing.

But wait, there's more.

"Going to church" Style

This style is always accompanied by a bow or big flower.

More of the above.

"Alfalfa" Style

If you look really close, she again, put food in her hair and created an alfalfa at the top back.

"Caught in the act of yogurt in the hair" Style

I tell you, every meal, with out fail.

"Look at me being a stinker" Style

"Everyday" Style

"Helmet" Style

This is a recent style. I just got a bike and trailer for my birthday, and the little one needed a helmet to keep her extra safe. Good thing she likes this style, she wears it often.

"The fohawk" Style

"Underwear" Style

This shows how comical Kat is. She is always putting on a show for us. Quite the little entertainer.
