Oh, how I love Christmas Eve. There is so much excitement going on. Our evening started off by going to Jordan's family Christmas party for dinner, a talent show, Santa, and a white elephant gift exchange. We had such a wonderful time. I do wish I was able to get more pictures. My camera battery is dying, and I have to charge it all the time, and it just wasn't working. I was able to get a few pictures from the night.
The Wilson Family Christmas Eve Party
This was a very wonderful Christmas Eve party. There were sounds of laughter, tears of joy and sadness, that all equaled a perfect evening. Last year my dear aunt Cathy was able to come and celebrate Christmas with us, not knowing it would be her last. It was also perfect. Having her there was the best Christmas gift we could all recieve. This year, she had a little surprise for us. A little piece of her to carry with us all the time. Although she wasn't here with us in person, she was with us in Spirit. We love and miss you Aunt Cathy.
After a delicious Finnish dinner, all the grandkids, and now the great grandkids, all head upstairs to act out the Nativity story. Here Gabi and Nissa are playing with the donkey mask.
Santa finally made it. Nissa was finally understanding why Santa is such a great guy. He brings presents.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

I love Christmas Eve also. It is so magical. It was fun to see your pictures and remember the evening. Annissa looks darling sitting on Santa's lap.--Granny O
Looks like you had a lot of fun. Hope you guys are doing well!
Jumping from fam to fam is crazy. I bet that Nissa loved going to all the family parties!
what cute pictures! Looks like you guys did have fun...glad to have another friend in blogland :)
I miss you guys. I miss Santa bringing me presents, perhaps I will be better this year so he will come again...without it hurting my bank account! :)
How cute!
I'd be totally ok with the nervous smile. Most toddlers freak out and a big bearded buy in red! She must be pretty smart to know that she needed to stay cool to get her present! :)
Oh your Christmas looks wonderful. I loved hearing about your family parties and traditions. Nissa is so cute and funny to see her face as she was wondering if Santa was okay.
How's the new semester going?
