Random Cuteness

Not a whole lot of things have been happening around here lately. We were lucky to have some very fun visitors 2 weekends in a row. We were in heaven. The weekend following our surprise visit from Mumma, Jordan's mom, dad, and sister were able to come stay. We had a wonderful time having them here. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. Bad on my part. We did some fun things with them. We went to the Natural History Museum, ate yummy food, and went shopping. It was a great weekend.

Other than our fun visitors, I have been house hunting! I have found several homes I like, but not the one yet. Bummer. Hopefully we will be in a home soon.

These two are best friends. They are always together. They love each other, and sweet Nissa is always telling Kat.

BEST Surprise EVER!

On Thursday night I got a call from my aunt Sharon saying that my mom was going to go with us to the zoo tomorrow and here was her flight information. I was so surprised! And I was going to let it be an even bigger surprise for sweet Nissa. Friday came, and of course I was so antsy and excited that I couldn't stand it. We left super early to go pick her up and on the way there, both girls fell fast asleep! What! I couldn't believe this. I pulled up to the airport and quietly tried to wake Nissa up, she was coming out a little bit, then she heard the back of the car open, she slowly turned around, and just stared. Ever so slowly, a sweet smile spread across her face and she was grinning from ear to ear. I got her out so she could give hugs, and boy did she hug! It was the longest, tighest, hug I have ever seen. What a sweet meeting it was!Nissa and Mumma

While Mumma was here, we did a lot of fun things. We went on walks and enjoyed the beautiful weather, mumma taught Nissa how to play hopscotch. And let me tell you how cute it was.

Mumma helped to make her yummy spaghetti, which we all enjoyed!And while she was here, Kat picked up on two signs. More and all done! Her sign for more is like she is washing her hands. It took me awhile to figure it out. I am so grateful I did, because now she does it all the time when she wants more.

Nissa learned how to use my big camera and take some pictures.

What a wonderful weekend we had having Mumma here. We sure love her and can't wait to see her again.

Happy 10 Months!

Wow! I can't believe my baby is already 10 months. Time just goes too quickly.

Here are some fun things about our little Kat

* Loves food, especially fresh fruit, macaroni and cheese, and spaghetti

*Crawls all over the place

*Not interested in walking yet

*Loves to play with big sister

*Is very friendly- every time we see someone she says hi- I am not exaggerating

*Loves mommy and daddy and big sister

*Loves going through the movies

* Loves singing and being loud

*She has 5 little teeth

*Her hair stands up all over

*She says mama, dada, and baba (bottle)

*She loves to bite

*She has a really funny cheesy smile where she will throw her head back and cheese it.

*She loves her green blanket

*She is really tall (95%)

*Loves the phone

*Every time I make her a bottle, she will give it one last shake before she drinks it

*Loves babies

*Loves giving kisses

*Loves to cuddle and snuggle

*She is such a sweet girl and we just love her to pieces.

Christmas 2010

Our December fly by. We had so many fun things going on, that it just ate away the time. Nissa sure enjoyed decorating the house for Christmas. Throughout the month, I always found Nissa on the counter looking at the Nativity.

Our dear friends, the Ludwigs, took us to this incredible house to see the lights. It was amazing. Each window in the house was fully decorated with a Christmas theme. It was gorgeous!

Nissa's Birthday Party

Nissa had a birthday and Jordan told her that she could do whatever she wanted the whole day. She chose Chick fil A for lunch with Daddy. She loved having the whole day of doing whatever she wanted. That night we went to Chuck E Cheeses for pizza, and fun! She had such a fun day!

The following day we flew to Utah so we could celebrate Christmas with family. And birthdays. My family planned to take us to see Tangled for Nissa's and Victoria's birthday. Nissa loved the movie! Rapunzel is all she ever talks about now.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

Nissa was so excited to open Julie, the American Girl Doll, from Mumma and Poppa. She was in heaven.

Kat got a new baby doll that she just kept kissing. She loves babies!
We had such a great time in Utah with family. We were sad to leave, but happy to arrive home to see that Santa stopped at our house and left a cute, pink Kitchen!

Nissa keeps talking what a great Christmas it was. "It was the best Christmas EVER!" Thanks to everyone who made it the best. We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season!
